My mates and i are heading down the river early next month and we are wondering if there are any fuel stops river side that we might be able to use or close enough that we can fill some Jerry Cans up any ideas?

John : what is a good idea is that we used was a small sack trolley to carry a few fuel drums. I.E like in
Morgan & other
places were you can get fuel in town . Also marines riverglen &
mannum etc . Depending on your range , were do you think you will need topping up ?? We did a similar tip but the other way . Punyelroo caravan park downstream from
Blanchetown maybe worth a call ?
Blanchetown Caravan Park was very obliging when we stayed there but the fuel is up on the highway too far away.

Morgan will probably be first stop but a top up. Hoping to have about 100km safely of range but 100l will be a full fuel up. I've got a 80kg cart so hoping to use that for 20 litre jerry cans

Morgan .. pretty easy stroll up to the servo in the town . The sack trolleys make the job a lot easier
Punyelroo caravan park is listing petrol but worth a call . Another trap for
young players is
check that all the locks that you need to go through are open and operational we came across one on a trip once that was closed for maintenance luckily for us the lock master trailered us around Goodluck
