Hi all, just wanted to report another roll over within 60 klms of
Birdsville. No-one hurt (small scratch - and the dog is o.k. as
well) but the Disco is a write off, engine not in bad shape but body work wrecked. How do they happen - dirt road, speed, bald tyres, slight inattention (reading a sign about UHF frequencies). Please everyone drive carefully - you'll get there in the end, no need for speed.

G'day Ruth,
You must have been pretty busy of late....apart from a short response last night, I haven't seen you on here for a while now.
Thanks for the report (and timely reminder)....glad no serious injuries were sustained; except to pride and wallet perhaps.
Cya

Busy, busy - it's half time in the State of Origin and Glenn's red wine is losing effect, can even type straight now. LOL. Wallet affected alright - doesn't have insurance. Oh dear. CYA.

Member - Glenn, Alleged Would-be Insurance Assessor, reports,
engine o.k. but body work, done in. In Queensland, about 60 klms towards
Windorah - before turning off for
Innamincka. diesel - hmmmm, will have to collaborate with Glenn at breakfast on this point. think - petrol. Will advise. Have it on good authority that your relation (nudge, nudge wink wink) is to buy wreck. Have not yet posted to Judith - but will do so when traffic eases off and can get out of front yard.

Ruth, good advice to all there. I remember the roads where the stones build up between the wheel tracks and you can jump around a bit. I think that some have not had sufficient slippery road experience sometimes - rolling stones, wet - greasy. As distinct to wet and BOGGED LOL, just to remind you I can laugh about it now. Have good piccies to prove it.

It has been my experience that osme people get bogged not matter what, not matter how many times they are told DON"T GO THERE. Half time in the footie - gotta go back to the teve. Need to talk. Later.

Someone here from Timboon this week - can't remember, will look in visitors book - had too many of Glenn's red wines, too tired from booking in 300 per night. Stuffed in fact. Thank goodness visitors came from Somers Vic - they fed and watered me whilst we worked on auto. Will tell youu who tomorrow. Sorry Glenn's red wine typed thzt.

Always called Hiluxs - roluxes here but still laughing about Landrollovers - if only you knew. About 8 out of 10 here are Discoveries. Defenders just fall on their sides.
