Ridge Ryder fridge repair??

Was about to mention their name, they service many fridges Engel, Waeco etc

A trial on 240v should test this theory. Normally not holding temp is the gas is gone and if thats the case it's usually a replacement fridge

Agree they look the part and the retailer is a reliable operator. The only negatives I have hear is the LG compressor is not as good as the Danfoss one ?

Tested it on two trips so far and it's passed with flying colours. Been on continuously now for two weeks since we have returned still with no issues. Holds temp well.

Dont know why people are so hung up on compressor brands, they rarely fail on any fridge, it always seems to be the electronics that control the compressor and fridge operation.
Only difference I can imaging worthy would be power consumption and that is hard to compare as danfos/seacop units are variable so the same unit can draw different amounts by changing a resistor but the less they draw the longer they have to run for.
The way I see it, it is build quality that counts, how well they handle vibrations over time and there is only 2 ways to find that out and I dont think any retailer will let you pull one apart to have a look before you purchase it.

Like RTM you'll get your money back when the fridge fails like mine did on the day I bought. But that's after a few moments of them disbelieving what you tell them.
