Hi All
Does anyone know how these pins come out? Given it a wack, nothing. Are they threaded in? Surely not.
Greasable on other side.
Any suggestions appreciated
Cheers

Just found an online image. Seems the nuts come off both ends.
So it becomes just a pin.
Thought you could tap in inwards, but maybe the nipple and nut have to be removed and it taped out??

Bit hard to see in the picture, but are you sure that
the nut doesn't have a tack weld on it, my camper trailer does. Looks suspiciously like one at ~8 o'clock by the
pic.

With a nut on the inside, either welded there or just tight, the pin obviously has to be removed outward because IT MUST HAVE a shoulder on the inner end of the parallel pin. So, by simply screwing two nuts onto the outer end and using same as a locked to pin nut , the pin should be able to be unscrewed outward.. Maybe if not welded on inside the inner nut would have to be held and locked there by spanner to allow a rotary removal. Shame the leaves as re broken. Not a good advert for the supplier. Should be quite easy.

I would imagine you have got it sorted out by now but these bolts can get seized to the rubber bush at times and can take a fair bit bashing to remove , if you can still pump grease into them then you would imagine that they would come out fairly easy which was the case of
mine about a month ago changing Springs often the grease tubes get blocked and you cannot get grease into them. .The other thing you may need to do is put a bit of upward pressure under the diff to take the pressure off the bolts and Springs .

you need to take the weight off the rubber, which is very hard to do without taking the leaf spring off the diff. Put the jack under the diff that side and lift a bit, pin comes out from grease nipple side, take nipple off first, hit or lever or jack even to break rubbers hold on leaf

I would imagine that you have it figured out by now, but these bolts can sometimes get seized to the rubber bush and can require a fair bit of bashing to remove. The second thing that you may need to do is provide a little amount of upward pressure under the differential in order to release some of the pressure that is being applied to the
tunnel rush bolts and Springs.
