Why does the map open "white" then go black?

Not sure bout this but looking at your screenshot your content hasn’t synced. (orange pin). You also have some straight line navigating happening.

Try clearing the navigation, swipe the App closed, then reboot your device.

Worth a try.

Looks like you’ve turned on colour inversion in your Android system - not an option in the Traveller app. Sorry I don’t know exactly how to turn it off but if you a Google it you’ll find something about it.
