Cannot update on data manager

I am just setitng up the Traveller desk top app. I have had 6 or so failed attempts to update data. Gets to about 85% and times out or connection error. Is there something else I can try. I have rebooted desktop. I am on an imac.

Have a read through thread 146484, discussing some dramas with the desktop version. David explains that he’s working on a fix, but may be a few weeks from date of that thread.
