Hi there, Vic4wd,
I am having an issue with my installation. Would appreciate it if you could send me a
pic and/or confirm the model of the Carlinkit that you purchased. I'm trying to install the CCPA unit and can't get it to connect. Carlinkit is telling me that its not compatible with a 2023 Isuzu D-Max and that there's nothing I can do. I tend not to agree with their view, because many others (including yourself) have got it working.
Thanks again.

Here is your answer - I have 2023 MUX and this was the solution
The Isuzu USB does not seem to have enough power to drive the Carlinkit. Carlinkit sell an adapter which I bought, Then I bought the the one on link below because I think it is a more elegant solution.
Mine runs perfectly now. The one below is $14.00 plus postage.
I can post you the carlinkit one if you like for a few bucks plus postage - It is $20.00AU on their site. It worked perfectly. I just preferred the one below.

I was given similar advice to upgrade my USB cable as the answer I received on another
forum found that the supplied cable would not supply sufficient to power the SIM card to access the internet.
I purchased another bigger capacity cable (same as the advice received as I used his link) however that didn't help my Internet connection.. good advice offered as it worked for him..not for me. Now I am simply using the USB wingle and SIM as I mentioned in a previous post.
Aside from that its working :)

The solution for the Isuzu was not a bigger cable - It was a double USB cable (it has 3 ends)- You plug one USB into the comms USB port and the other one into the adjacent cigarette socket using a normal Cigarette socket power supply. Then you plug the USBc into the AI box. This seems to be a Isuzu specific problem. The Carlinkit worked perfectly (without the additional power supply) in my wife's car which has a 10 plus year old aftermarket Pioneer head unit, but would not work in the MUX. This was the solution provided by the Carlinkit help centre and it worked perfectly. With the Carlinkit cable you need 2 cables, hence my preference for the other one.
