While trying to navigate Wakers Crossing last week I discovered my eotopo 2023 licence has disappeared. I thought the licence was forever.

Had all the 2023 maps on the phone and used then a fair bit. Went to check my location on Walkers Crossing and found I couldn't zoom in. Checked my account and I now have nothing downloaded and no option to download anything unless I purchase 2025.

You probably updated EO Traveller which I believe doesn’t support older maps.

The latest version of the ExplorOz Traveller app supports the following editions of EOTopo map licences - 2023, 2024, and 2025. Your licence for 2023 is still supported through to 2027 however the maps can be redownloaded if for some reason your device has offloaded them.

Go to Data Manager check your licence for 2023 is recognised then downloaded LoRes, HiRes etc. if stuck press Clear Maps and restart the map pack downloads.

For more assistance please reach out using the Help Desk.

Only 2025 LoRes Pack is listed and highlighted as installed with the HiRes pack dulled and listed as Not Licensed. I haven't used the program since Christmas

Delete the 2025 LoRes then all your 2023,map packs will be activated ready to download - you need to downliad 2023 LoRes, and then 2023 HiRes

Done but now the only option I have 2025 but it has a red cross next to it. There is no mention of 2023 on the Data manager screen or on the user account screen

I think I will pass this time. I have been fighting this software for two years. It has failed me on nearly every trip we have been on and we do 3 to 4 trips a year. Only ever fails once we have no service. This is now the third major issue and I'm tired of it.

Why do you persist here when you have been asked to ask your questions through the help desk?

Good thing you weren't trying to do it this week - all under water again now I expect.
What was it like last week?
I've been trying to get there for years, and always seems to be closed.

We beat the rain by a day but if we had detoured through Birdsville we'd still be stuck there. We did it in Oct last year and it wasn't bad and the only difference this time was a little water in some of the low spots. It was a little difficult to navigate round due to the lack of use and no tracks to follow on some of the bypasses. We did it a few years ago and it was wet on the west end but this time was way better.

Now just a bit of context on the closure. There is a dispute between Parks and the Stations on should the track be open at all. Oct last year Parks opened the track but the Station put road closed signs up on the Birdsville track. This time the SA Government site listed it as open, the signs were still at the entrance from the Birdsville track sayin the road was closed but when we got to Innaminka the shop also listed it as closed. We checked the SA Gov site and it was still listed as open. We spoke to the shop owner in Innaminka and he said that he given up trying to figure if it was open or not
