Thanks to those who enquired - we have a 100 series owner about to become a proud and happy Custom Boat Loader owner - who was suitably impressed with the product - thanks Gerry!

Bill

PS if anyone else is interested in a loader give us a call before they start the advertising campaign. We are happy to send a cd with a mpeg file of it.

Could your product be suitable to mount on an ARB steel roof rack? Many people like me have an ARB steel roof rack and would be interested if a boat loader could be mounted on that.

On some of our trips we would do not take a tinnie and lifting the ARB roof rack off and on is a bugger of a job and I would love a boat loader that we could take off on and the ARB rack when we liked. I am sure the boat loader would be much lighter than the ARB rack.

Hi Andrew,

Bill isn't here at present so I will try to answer your question.

No it can't be mounted on a existing roof rack as it is an alumimum roof rack incorporated into a boat loader.

We found when we built our first one that we made a aluminum roof rack and then fixed the various parts to this to make the loader. This made it very high and required a fair amount of setting up - and also heavy.

This one Bill and I just lift off ourselves when we don't want it on - it is simply a matter of unclipping 4 clips. Without the boat it is just a roof rack with a winch and a few ropes and used as a roof rack. (Bill is 60 and I'm the child bride)!

Even the winch is easy - electric - Bill puts it on and off alone in minutes - everywhere we go _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx a crowd and eveyone who has seen it is absolutely "blown away"!

If you would like me to email you a couple of pics / CD with mpeg file- I am happy to do so - I'm sure you too will be impressed!

Dian, like the Big Kidz I've got an ARB rack and would like to have a boat loader as well. If you could send me a couple of pictures I'd appreciate it.
By the way, whereabouts are you?
Thanks.
Alan.
