On my device the pin is greyed out and if pressed takes me to the Data Manager sync page.
All is synced OK.
I have shut the device down and restarted a couple of times.
Does the system have to be set a in a specific manner for the pin to work.
The pin is white and works fine on my PC.

My apologies.
On the traveller EO topo there is a PIN symbol that is used to mark a point and allows data about that point to be added,
This symbol should be White but on the map on my device (a Samsung tablet) it is greyed out and when selected brings up the page mentioned above.
The GPS is connected.
Hope this clarifies the issue, thank you for your interest.
Roger

That would sound like you need to do something in there sync , update ,permissions ?? Can you see something that doesn't look right and is this a new problem / first time .
Are you signed up to the test program as there is a new update just released

G'day Roger.
I have an Android tablet and the PIN is always
GREY and has never been any different. I thought touching the pin to use and place a PIN on the map was to be intuitive but
mine is never active. Never accessed through a PC so can't comment on that!
I presume the pin turns GREEN and will work when some hidden condition is met. All maps and downloads have been done but no PIN works!

Mine is solid
grey but still works. When you tap it it creates a waypoint at the position of the cross hairs or your position. Never had it throw me back to the data manager. I read that everything is synchronised. I wonder if it has something to do with the app update to v9. 4? I note some specific instructions about resynchronising as per the Exploroz email. I'm currently using a Samsung A55 and v9. 4.

Roger
Has this worked previously?
Is your GPS working correctly? Green satellite symbol TRH corner.
If yes, try this, Data Manager down the bottom of the page, clear content, then back up to the top and re download content.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.
I had done most of the things that were suggested but went through them again this morning.
Just opened the map up and the pin is white and seems to be performing as advertised!
Leaving on a 3 month trip tomorrow, so pleased at least that bit is working!
Thanks again and safe travels.
Roger
