Each purchase of EOTopo applies to a specific map edition (identified by year) and includes 4 years of support from the release date. During this period, you can download and use the offline maps as often as needed, with no subscriptions or additional fees. You may continue using your purchased edition while it remains supported, or upgrade to a newer edition at any time.

EOTopo licences are linked to your ExplorOz account. One licence can be used across multiple compatible Apple and Android devices when signed in to the same ExplorOz account.

EOTopo licences apply to offline maps only.
The Traveller app always provides access to the latest online EOTopo maps via app updates.

I suspect what you're seeing is the availability of the EOTopo 2026 edition that becomes available in the app each year when we release a new edition for all app users to consider - either for their first purchase, or as an update option. If you are happy to continue using the edition you previously purchased and it remains within its 4 year support period then you can just keep using that as your offline map source.
