Has anyone fitted a Hiclone to a V6 rodeo? or any V6 4x4 ?
I am interested to know if it will give me better fuel economy? or is a gimick?

Cameron, do a search of this site and also www.overlander.com.au where there has been quite a few postings on Hiclones. Some say yes, some say no. Have a search and you can decide.

Buy it and try it and decide for yourself. They cheap and not worth spending hours and hours trying to decide if they work or not. That being said the design theory is good and sounds logical so MAYBE they do work. What have you got to lose $160

Fellas, personnally, I got one for my troopy and my results were minimal if any. If you want your veichles to go better help them to breathe, ie air filters and exhaust gasses. Admittedly my vehichle is a different make etc but I wouldn't waste my 160 dollars.

regards john.

Gday Cameron.
We fitted a Hiclone to our V6 Commodore ute. Now I know it isn't a 4WD but our results were the same as John H's....very minimal. I agree to the get the air in as I also own a Turbo Diesel 4wd Rodeo and after fitting the snorkel and washable air cleaner found it pulled so much better and the fuel economy increase quite noticably.
Hope this was of some help.
