Due to Nov being the only time my mates and I can get time off. We are planning a trip from Broken Hill - Silverton - Cameron Corner - Inaminka - Haddon Corner - Birdsville - Poepples Corner then onto the Flinders Ranges.

Anyone got any links to some good sites that we should visit along the way

Yes, on the way back from the desert, visit Warraweena Conservation Park in the Flinders Ranges near Leigh Creek. Good camps and some awesome 4x4 tracks. Check them out on this site under Trip Planning and Treknotes or go to www.warraweena.com

Well I guess you'll be looking for swimming or drinking holes. Heading north from B'Hill you have to stop at Packsaddle for a freshing drink then there is Cobham lake which if there has been enough rain will be on your left cannot miss it - good swimming; next stop Milparinka (Pub), swimming at Depot Glen; Tibooburra (2 Pubs) and only local crows nest dams to swim in if they have rain; Innaminka is great for swimming and fishing we spent X'mas there one year until the temp got above 54 degrees, we ended up in the beer garden at Innaminka and the temp was 50 degrees at 11am - damn tooo hot. Coongie lakes worth a visit - back south cannot help much from here. Have fun and ensure the air con works fine and be prepared for doing the Aussie salute alot alot alot !!!
