Richard - using OziExplorer export some waypoints from the same area as a text file and look at the format - enter your data in same format ..sounds easy...should work (there are of course a few traps). If you are using Excel change the exported text files name to *.csv and open with Excel. Data will be in nice columns for editing then. When you have finished adding data save as csv file and then change the name back to *.txt.
Here is the format required (waypoints from a different area)
Datum,WGS 84
WP,DMSX,2,-32,51,35.102,115,47,23.705,,,Description,,,
WP,DMSX,3,-32,51,55.136,115,47,27.098,,,Description,,,
WP,DMSX,4,-32,52,11.837,115,47,27.115,,,Description,,,
Leave columns not required (date for example) blank as they can cause probelms if not formated properly...unless you really need them.
Hope this gets you on your way
Cheers

Thankyou very much.
I was hoping for an easy way to import it as I have a few of them and the one for Fraser Island has 294 waypoints, so it will take a while to change but that excel thing should make it a lot quicker.
Thanks
Richard

Richard if you want to drop me an e-mail at landline_equipment at the hotmail company I will send you an Excel file later today already formatted with a heading example to import as Text in OziExplorer from menu LOAD - IMPORT WAYPOINTS FROM TEXT FILE.
I have been threatening for a couple of years to do all these up and put them up on my website for download as so many have trouble as navigation formulation is not easy. I will put them on my must do list and have them on my website for download in a couple of weeks.
