Can't get a 150 Royce,
well not a new one. It's a 1 tonner, the Falcon ute will do that. Visit the ford website. All the specs are there.

The F150 is IFS and solid rear. V8 up to around 5 odd litre. About 75 series Cruiser in size but Hilux in style. Private import only.
F250 is an actual truck in construction with solid front and rear axles V8 up to 7.3L (in Australia). Available from Ford Australia as is the F350.
F350 is very similar to an F250 but has a higher payload and can have dual rear wheels (single axle - 4 tyres). Same engines as F250.
In the US they go up to about F-750. All have seperate chassis design.
Heaps of other differences. Google has the answers.

Slip a decimal point two
places from the right and you get their payload capacity in tons.

Not quite as simple as that Gary as the payload varies between the single cab, super cab & crew cab models. Payload also changes for Auto's, 2x4 Vs 4x4 & between XLT & XL models. Max load on a 350 is 2.8 tonne down to only 1.6 for the crew cab. In some models they barely carry more than a cruiser but it's their towing capacity you'd buy one for. 7.3 litre turbo diesel. Can't wait for ours to arrive at work. Certainly will beat driving an Isuzu.
Not too good at the links but here goes..........Cheers Craig.

I don't know about the 350 but the 250 only has a tow capacity of 4500kg. Problem is that unless you tow a fifth wheeler you can only get a tow bar for a 250 rated to 3500kg anyway same as a Cruiser etc. I think there is special things to do with the ratings when a fifth wheeler anyway. Obviously if you need to tow more than 3.5 tonne then you are into more than towball territory anyway.
However regardless of the capacity they tow 3500kg with ease. We have towed a bleep load more than that on work sites and they don't mind it all. They take far more than 1 tonne in the back too although that's all there rated to.
