Further to the recent discussion about turning off ABS in the bush.
On the weekend,I drove the Challenger a little way up a dirt
hill steep enough to induce nosebleed and then reversed down on gearbox and brake. No problems. But I noticed that the ABS light went on in the dash display and stayed on 'till I stopped and restarted the engine.
There was no wheel slippage and no apparent loss of control. Swambo vetoed further science so I couldn't continue the experiment but the quest continues.
