Should I be concerned about the fact that I've got negative offset wheels on a 4Runner ( 15 x 8 rims with 31 x 10.5 x R15 tyres), the wheels stick out past the guards but that can be fixed with some flared guards, its more the handling aspect that I'm wondering about, ie extra stress on steering components when turning.

Will.
The front swivels are likely to leak unless you increase the preload on the king pin bearings to compensate for the greatly increased load, the other problem is injuries to your hands if you drive over rough ground without power steering. Eric.
