Am seriously considering purchasing one of these to fit to my 80 series L/C .

They look sturdy and would seem to be an ideal storage area for leads, camp oven (in box) and caravan annexe (kakadu) for a Poptop van.

Anyone use one , and if so how do you find them?

I have the Ocean 700 which I use to secure all my surfboards & fishing rods etc.
I took my 'cruiser on a 20,000 km trip through NT, Kimberley & WA coast last year & it was great. It seemed to be pretty dustproof. I would definitely recommend.

Thanks Chris O, good to hear they are pretty dustproof.

Price wise all the stockists seem to be reluctant to discount the price.

At the Gold Coast the Ocean 200 is quoted at $595. What price for this down your way?

Not sure of the exact model but I have the thule black coffin size box. We used during a 25,000 km (as much dirt as possible) trip in 2003 and it never faulted us once - I think we more than likely doubled the 75kgs we were spose to limit it to.

Stll looks new!!
