Hi
I've been reading all the posts on this
forum and know there is a lot of discussions about eskies and coolers. A lot of people seem to be recommending the tropical Ice Box, but i noticed it only has a 3 year warranty. I've found the Techni-Ice icebox which is only $119 for a 60L and has a 7 year warranty. Has anyone got one of these? Does anyone know if these are ok? I have also found a Frosty brand Icebox in Rays Outdoors - $130 for a 55L. I'm just looking for something that will keep this cold for a week and is heavy duty and last. The tropical are about $200 - 250 just for 35L. What do people think??

Chris,
The number of years of warranty doesn't actually mean its a better product. It just means it won't break over that period and if it does they will replace it.
They should really indicate the R value of the coolboxes. You could buy any plastic box with a lid, and even though it may have a 10 year warranty it won't keep your things cold for very long.
Cheers
R.
