Can someone tell me if the 240v and the 12v operation has a low temp cut out. This is what I suspect. The other day I was trying to see if the 2 fans together work better than 1 but when i checked it was getting hotter then i noticed it getting colder again. I was thinking my second fan was having adverse effect but actually helping get colder then was cutting the power off to fridge I think it had reached the low temp cut out and turned off then turned back on. The gas I assume doesnt have one just the intensity of the flame control knob. Thanks heaps .

AFAIK , on 3 way fridges , the 240v does have a cutout or thermostat , but the 12v doesn't . . . it just runs. Thats why they are so heavy on jiuce when running on 12v compared to something like engel/waeco etc.
I believe a few people have tried running their fridges on 240 using an invertor , purely to get the use of the thermostat , but gained little because on the inefficiencies of the invertor.
