Gday Mate,

Im not a fridgie by trade but I work for Kirby Refrigeration so I deal with Danfoss Compressors all the time. From what I can remember at this point, all compressors do come with a build date/code. However you will need to get this code and then mention it so I know what compressor it is. From what I gather its going to be a domestic compressor from a small fridge.

Now what I would need you to do is to have a look on the compressor and see if there are any details. If there arent any details then we would have to work out the size of it (horsepower, what gas it is on), then I would be able to try and work things out from there.

Cheers,
Shaun

The reason i want to ckeck the date is i have had my fridge repaired, paid for new parts but believe it has been "repaired" using old second hand parts, just want to be sure when i talk to the supplier this week.
BTW the code on my fridge is D-35f 0200 and
F-490c24-0
Raymond from your advice would i be right in interpreting this as 49 th week, year 2000 ,wednesday
Thankyou
