F100 gearbox

my friend has got a f100 4x4 he needs a gearbox kit but there are two different types in them (borg warner & new process) can anyone help us to identify it.

I had a 77 model that l had to reco 2 years ago , l think by memory that the new process has an aluminium top on it and the borg warner is cast iron?
mine was a np and had the aluminium top cover.
