We did that trip 2 yrs ago you'll have a great time
check out all the waterholes (bores) the life around them is just amazing most people seem to just drive past, they are generally off the main track but mostly signposted,
well worth the effort
also if you want to try some real country hospitality drop into the motel restraunt opposite the pub in
Thargomindah with out a doubt the best feed we had on the trip when you get the bill you'll think he only charged for one he's so cheap we also drank his beer for several hours and the whole night cost less than $40 for both of us can't beat the value
His nick name is Dogga dont know his real name If you do drop in say g'day from us Kev & Pam from Bundy
have a great trip Kev

Might just see you abut Starky, we leave Deceptin Bay Saturday morning ourselves. We've got eight weeks to enjoy
Innamincka,
Birdsville, Simpson, Old Gahn, Alice, Garry
Junction Rd, Garry Hwy, Hunt Oil Rd,
Laverton, Anne Beadel, Cober Pedy and the
Gammon Ranges before finding our way
home again. Bit of a marathon I know but we'll be taking our time. We are in a white patrol with a green rooftop camper. We are by ourselves so if you see us say gidday!
