NSW State Forests requesting input
So here is the problem. There is a a heck of a lot of
State Forest land available to us as 4WDrivers - but how do the State Forests find out who we are and what we need (Greater access? Dedicated trails?)?
In order to better cater to those who use the areas, NSW State Forests have an online survey to see who is using what, where and how often. The more people that give information, the better a chance we have of keeping these areas open, perhaps making more areas available for 4x4 events and for encouraging NSW State Forests to put more resources into them.
The more people that put in their two bob's worth the more NSW State Forests will be able to show that these areas are used and supported. This in turn will help keep them from being absorbed into new or existing National Park and you know what that means - locked gates
Have your say on helping NSW State Forests give Four wheel drivers what we need.
Go to
http://www.forest.nsw.gov.au/recreation/survey/default.asp and fill in the form

My vote is in, along with a short comment of praise for what appears to be a proactive measure.

What affects one state will trickle down into others..
And I might wanna go wheelin up there when I go back
home to visit mates up there.. cabbage tree lane always looked good, freds, etc..
The way it sounds now, you wont even be able to drive down George St in the city in anything soon...

Very important for all to be informed and particpate to give FNSW and others info on how we like to spend our
recreation time on the land that is ours to use.
