Well, I just joined, so the "old plodder" monicker has been dropped and I have been reborn as John C.
Will have to do the baptism tonight myself with a bottle of red :-).
Shall raise a glass to all of you.
look forward to a few good chats and some good information.

Off to Mt Moffat next week for a few days, so I suppose I should do the right thing and post some trek notes when I get back.

Cheers, John C

Hmm...does that mean that if I joined I'd have to become "foot attached" and drink red ? :)))))))

Good for you John C, make sure you make the most of your membership and catch up with others of the interest, even to getting to the National in your state next month

Saw the national gathering in Birdsville too late, already planned Mt Moffat. Did think of taking a week to get the last 1000k or so from mt moffat to birdsville, but too many jobs to do in the office.
Been trying to work out how to get there, only a couple of thousand k from Brisy, so only 2 days drive. So leaving thurs and back tues might work.
But being first week of tax year, that killed it :-(.

Hi John

Why not stick with "old plodder"? But welcome aboard as a member, names are only labels anyway!

Cheers

For a minute there I thought I'd lost the plot - couldn't remember posting anything.

Welcome aboard the best site for info on 4wd/camping John C.

We have gathered here today, to remember, and say our farewells to "Old Plodder".

Now, as in true Tibetan Buddhist tradition, he has come back reincarnated, as John C (QLD).

This may be confusing for some, as there are many Johns here to choose from, but, as long as he didn't call himself..." Johnny Come Lately", things should run smoothly.

Someone, who has more time than me ( yeah, right Wolfie!!! ), may actually do a quick census here on EO, and see how many Johns we do have, as members & visitors, along with what they drive.

Now, if we get more than 26 Johns, we're in trouble....... 'cause we run out of letters........

Anyway, John "C"...... good to see you come aboard.

Cheers

Wolfie (A)...lol.....
