If, like me, your beast is a tad on the noisy side (no under bonnet sound absorbing material) ... try

http://www.tru-fitcarpets.com.au/

I bought a sheet for $50. Adhesive backed fire retardant foam. Wash the underside of the bonnet and fit. Took longer for the bonnet to dry than fit and makes quite a surprising difference.

Surprise surprise, that funny looking thing in the middle of the dash plays music ... always wondered what it did.

Hmm .... now for the firewall ???? :o)

Cheers

Good work Rosco! The old 6.5 gets a bit noisy (read DEAFENING!!!) in the old 75 which has no sound deadening in it at all anywhere. I actually keep a pair of earmuffs in the vehicle for long drives (true!) so this stuff may prove to be just the ticket.

Keep us posted on the firewall update.

Cheers
