I want (need!) to put air bags on my 60 series Landcruiser, but according to the Airbag Man web site they won't fit on a 60 with factory fitted diff-locks, which
mine has. I checked my brother in law's non-diff-lock 60 series which has air bags fitted and it looks like there would only *just* be a little bit of interference with the diff bash plate. So, could a little alteration of the plate allow fitting air bags, or is there something else which could stop this? Is there an alternative product?
The bag end of my 60 sags a fair bit even under light loads.
Thanks...

That is one of the options I'm considering, but the fear I have is that the ride will be considerably rougher and as my wife drives it a fair bit I might end up getting a bit of an ear bashing :)

Can't understand why they won't fit them - have you sent them an Email to ask why?.
Try one of the dealers that sells Polyairs - TJM, Opposite Lock, Pedders etc. Same product just a different brand name. I have them on my 80 Series and they are great.

I'm pretty sure the issue is clearance as the diff-lock is fairly close to the right hand spring. But as you say, I'll talk to various vendors to see if there's a "real world" solution. It may not work "out of the box" but with a little bit of hammering/welding/sawing/whatever it may fit fine.
I thought Polyairs were different products from the Firestone airbags that the AirBag man sells? Mind you, having had a look at www.polyair.com.au, the black ones look very similar. They certainly seem cheaper too (if I fit them myself) and there's no mention of not fitting with diff locks.

Have a look at Aussie super springs
http://www.aussiesupersprings.com/
just put them on my 60 series and very impressed with the results. Corners flat, handles corrugations very
well. $499.00 fitted. Only had them a few weeks so can't comment on long term use.
