I am planning a trip to the Simpson in August, travelling a few of the tracks to get a varied look around.Can anyone give me an idea of how much fuel I may use in a petrol 4.5ltr Patrol?We are travelling from
Birdsville to
Alice Springs.I estimate the distance between fuel stops to be about 650km.

Birdsville petrol station!!
