Went up to the club property for the weekend up Heyfield way..

Its supposed to have rained recently, but Im tellin ya there was NOTHING WET not even damp there... The river we usually cross was walkable! Some patches of dust were 3in deep! Lookin in the mirror was amazing... Could only just see the back of the car at 80k's!

The Dust was crazy, and you had to stop and wait around 1-2 mins for it to clear 100%.. May not sound long, sit there and wait!

Xmas in the mountains may be worth giving a miss if it doesnt rain!

G'day truckster, I was up around the Big River area last week when we had that rain it bleep down for two days all it did was leave a few puddles on the tracks and the ground just soaked it up, the Taponga river was the lowest I've ever seen it in 20 old yrs,,but we had a great time the VB just seems to taste that much better in the bush...rain or no rain...
