Seems to be quite a few posts missing just recently. Is this censorship. Are we not supposed to voice our disapointment about $70 k plus vehicles that are no longer capable of doing the job. If we dont tell them publicly they will continue to ignore these obvious ongoing problems. Where do you stand on these issues David? Cheers Rob

There was a major system glitch which is probably the cause of your issue. See post 29325

Rob, you could jump to conclusions or you could go back to read the post from David about the crash and having to rebuild the Forum database. Then again I guess it depends if you make yourself clear about what you are talking.

As a newby I thought the same as Rob did however I contacted the site admin and ASKED if I had been NAUGHTY...In all fairness we all go off a bit and so I can understand Rob especially seeing that he supports the site....(I think...)

BE PATIENT chaps...and ALL will be revealed now go and say 3 Hail Mary's or 1 Bloody Mary.....

Hi Crazy Dog,

I'll do the later of your two remorses, but never the first or the church would fall down. hahahaha

Cheers Trevor.

Was not aware of the crash, only came on after work of an evening. Regardless, I am still interested in OE's stance regarding comments of pros and cons of our actual experience with various vehicles and products. We seem to have been free to speak our minds in the past in this open forum and hopefully this will always be so. Sharing experiences either way can only benefit us all. Cheers Rob

Rob,

We rarely remove threads from the system. The mojority are people pushing the bounds of our terms of use (like trying to get free commercial advertising, language/swearing, personal attacks and the like). As for vehicles and product issue we have never removed much however there are occasions were legality comes into play. This has only happened a few times but is distrubing when we are being sued for comments of others. In these cases we really have to remove it.

You will notice heaps of product praise and heaps of product slags we do not moderate these unless it is deemed to be creating a problem for our business.

So in a nut shell our rules and terms on this issue have not changed, as we believe in an open exchange both good and bad.

T,

Those trader ads were allowed - these guys are advertisers/sponsors and we were assured that the equipment was second hand/ex demo and they paid for the placements.

Hey Dave thanks for clarifying that and great news to hear. A courageous stance on EO' s behalf. Lets hope any comments good or bad are factual satements of first hand experiences. That is one of the true benefits of an open forum. Cheers Rob

Sorry Sparra just got back to site and got your comment- Close I am a geotech/sampler. pretty quite at the moment. When on nightshift i have been spending the first hour or so cruising the exploration lines looking at old pump stations or woodlines, driving some of the cool ridges and hills as well as checking out salt lakes
