Uluru and Kata Tjuta $25 per person valid for 3 days.

for that you get to walk around in the Australian Government provided straight jacket and the privilege of getting fined for breathing the air through your nose

and then to charge exorbitant prices to camp there

At least in Kakadu they have abolished the entry fees, and you either pay the commercial rates in the commercial campgrounds or (I think) $5.40 per person per night for camping.

Northern Territory run parks are described here:

http://www.nt.gov.au/nreta/parks/pdf/park_fees.pdf

As for SA, as I recall Witjira is $20 per vehicle per day or a Desert Parks Pass $95 per annum and there is camping fees on top of that I think.

Ciao for now
Andrew.
