gday folks,

my 93 1hz troopy (280k) has developed a severe leak at the top of the fuel pump housing.

i understand that this is due to the o-rings cracking as a result of low-sulphur diesel...

just wanted to know if it is worth going ahead and having ALL the seals replaced or if I can get
away with just replacing the top seal?

anyone got experience with this - have you just done the top seals? any problems later?

is it worth getting the pump overhauled completely? (no smoke -runs well)

vehicle has just been purchased so dont know alot about history unfortunately....

No just replace the top cover o-ring and the shaft seal but mostly its the top plate seal that needs to be replaced you wont have any more problems after you replace it If you have some mechanical knowledge its not that hard to do on the 1HZ No to your last question unless you have done more than 500k

I have same year and model and pump started to leak enough to wet back of block & front left suspension last year.
Had top seal replaced only and all OK since
