Happy Ozzy Day all...
Just wondering about converting Mov files to MPG/AVI or something recognised by windows movie maker?
Anybody know of good software... preferably free :)

I have found that if you download Picasa from the Google site, it has all the codecs required to run MOV files.
Go to www.google.com, then select more and scroll down to Google
Tools and select Picasa. This will take you to the site for downloading.
Picasa will also catalouge all your photos from your digital camera, so there are other benefits of this program.
Failing that, if you give me your email address, i will email you a program called WinAVI Video Convertor along with the crack to make it work. This program will convert MOV files to Mpeg so you can then convert all your mpeg files to DVD if you like.

Mate, that would be sweet as...
I can watch them, but I can't use them in moviemaker in MOV format, so a converter would be awesome...
