What a huge month we have had in January. We have toppled all sorts of usage records with a massive increase in usage. This month we have had over an 20% overall increase in system usage and we have recorded these stats for the month of January:
User Sessions: 465,781
Hits: 25,866,239
Page
Views: 3,705,340
View the graphical Site Stats report
Yes over 3.7 million pages of content rendered in one month to 465 thousand user sessions. I will be working on some more reporting for advertisers to show how the system is being used but in my initial investigation the
forum has around 30% of site traffic (this has been consistant for 3 years) and remaining is spread across the site.
Thanks to all our advertisers, members and visitors for your continued usage and support of ExplorOz.com. We will publish additional usage and traffic information in the next newsletter which will be issue 100 due 9th or 10th Feb.
PS: We will be moving the site to a new server platform during the week of the 13th Feb.

David,
THERE was movement at the station, for the word had passed around
That the Explore Oz website was out there to be found,
And had joined the world wide web — it had a thousand yarns,
So all the cracks had gathered to the fray.
All the tried and noted drivers from the stations near and far
Had mustered at the
Birdsville Caravan Park,
For the bushmen love hard driving where the wild outback starts,
And the vehicles rumble at the battle with delight.........
These figures are just rewards for your persistent hard work. I for one find it hard to get away from the computer and do some actual work because of this site.
PS speaking of The
Birdsville C/Park... is that the venue for another mass gathering this year ? (hope there is one planned as I would love to prepare for it)
Best Regards Trevor.
