Have the latest verson of Oziexplorer (3.95.4k). The Aust City Streets V3 DVD does not seem to interface. Oziexplorer lists the map when searched etc but comes up with 'Illegal operation' then when closing states 'error 103' Have downloaded all the necessary files, they work ok separately but will not interface, if anyone can assist, much appreciated. Hi Barry
You have to download a map file from the Oziexplorer site and then the program works great, better in Ozi than on it's own

Uf you have downloaded the .map files through the Oziexplorer website then you need to create the link where it looks for those files when you open a specific road map. Not unlike NATMAP Raster where you link the NATMAPS to the .map file.

Oziexlporer explains how to do this for NATMAP and I assume the process would be very similar for streetmaps.

For NATMAP they are all ECW files so Oziexplorer needs to open the .map file of that map.

Here is the link telling you how to sort out the NATMAPS perhaps the same procedure applies to the street maps. What the hell...give it a shot...

Well your first probelm is that you seem not to have the latest version ..(which is 3.96.1c) - try upgrading and see what happens...(but I do notice on website history of changes still states latest version as 3.95.4k..are you just quoting this?) Check your Help - About Screen to find out what version you actually have.
Cheers

3.96.1c is still a beta version.

3.95.4k is the current fully fledged (and relatively bug free) version. It is also compatible with UBD V3.0.

There is no reason to upgrade to 3.96.1c to ensure UBD compatability. In fact it might complicate the problem.

Good point - I didnt think of that - have always gone the dev. version as long as I can remember. Could possibly be worth a try though...dev version exe file when downloaded doesnt overwrite any existing Ozi *.exe files so can give it bash at no risk. I run two versions of oziE as the newest (beta) version no longer creates tfw files I can use.

Other possible solution is to re-install current edition again - maybe corrupted.
