Yarramunmun was open at the Yalwal end yesterday. Are they supposed to be open? Or has someone forgot to lock them? Hate to go there if not supposed to be there. Or get locked in.

Now that its open lets not stuff it for others and stay on the track.
Go easy and KEEP it open

All the best

Have personally checked with rangers and council, padlocks have been removed and access is again freely available note the track from the yarramunmun to the steep climb at dusties is blocked to vehicles about 10 minutes in by large fall of big trees...anyone got a very large chainsaw??? as previously stated look after the area

I drove past Yarramunmun at Christmas time. There were shiny new gates looking very serious, BUT whilst closed, closer inspection revealed they weren't locked and no signs advising of closure (or unauthorised lock removal).

Wombat Flat Road defeated me in '04 at the big step going south before Monkey Gum Road and I haven't returned to get cross-axled again!!

Cheers,

Tim
