Has anybody used or had any experience with sidewinder brand duel battery system. From what I have read they seem to be quite a good system and are set up for individual models as well.

I don't know anyone using them so it's hard to quantify the reliability/quality etc. I'm sure mr sidewinder himself will be along shortly to give himself a 'shameless' plug lol

You rang...

I am proud of my work and products.

Why let the big boys have all the fun. I am now also a Engel and Evakool stockist and am currently writing an article for ExplorOz. Keep an eye out in the 'Article' section. Should be under '12V Recreational Power' .

Regards Derek 'Mr Sidewinder' lol ;-)

I'm a very satisfied Sidewinder aka ABR aka Derek customer.

I have a 100 Series diesel and the kit came with everything and I had the install done in about 2 hours. Most time spent finding a path through the firewall.

The dual battery system is in constant use with an inverter and occasionally a fridge.

In my experience Derek stands behind his product and will always be there to answer any question you may have however small.

Ciao for now
Andrew

Precious Spinifex,

you can report it to the moderator if it offends - there is no need to cast aspersions on a genuine question and a genuine answer surely.

For the record, mine was an UNPAID product report, but seeing as you are interested, you can pay me for the privilege of my experience if you like.

Ciao for now

Mr Spinifex,

I was speaking to you. You didn't indicate that the cheque was in the mail.

However, it looks to me like ABR PAYS to advertise on this site.

Buon giorno
Andrew.

Hi all,
We have a 100 series with a dual battery system supplied and fitted by Derek of Sidewinder. Very happy with with the system and installation. Derek was extremely helpful and forthcoming with good advice. We have travelled many rough tracks and to date have had no problems. We highly recommend Derek and his products.
Cheers,
John and Patricia
