I expect a server reboot occured and we lost the setting to fire up the comp. It gets put back when the first person goes to the comp. I will see if I can make a code adjustment to make it work the other way around. If it goes away just go into the url of the comp at http://www.exploroz.com/Places/Pick_Comp.asp

What's stopping somebody getting their mate to post a photo and then "guessing" and claiming the price?

Works on the honesty principle I assume. It would be a petty act for someone to do as you've suggested. Very embarassing if caught at it.

Oh, Im sure nobody on this forum would do that.

The people who do this sort of stuff are the ones that leave their rubbish at campsites; and plonk their cheapo generator right next to your tent and run it all night with light and music blaring; and do circlework on beaches and salt pans; and refuse to let their tyres down etc...

Honesty is the best policy. If it was found out that people were cheating the system I would simply turn it off. I think it is really fun and the fact that I have not had to fork out a prize today is even better. I needed a few of these to go for a few days, I was thinking it was starting to look like it was really going to cost me to run this thing.

Hopefully we will not have to deal with cheating it would really be disappointing.

I did meet you for a fleeting moment at the visitors centre at Birdsville Visitors Centre on the Thursday before the races last year. Went to see you on the Sunday but the caravan park office was all shut.
Hope to catch up another year.
I have a new camper now so some Birdsville dust will be a must.

We were probably having mineral waters on the verandah of the house just near the front gate - behind where the gatekeepers sit (closest to the cold room!!) - next time come and find me. Just ask one of the guys to call me on the 2-way. Don't forget.
