Quick question, I'm installing a set of IPF spotties on the mighty cruiser and there are two sets of instructions.... one for positive high beam switching and one for... you guessed it.... negative high beam switching.... I am going to take a leap and guess that a 1988 HJ61 Diesel is going to have Positive switched highbeam ????? but, I am more than happy for anyone who actually knows the correct switching to let me know before I blow something up ???
Thanks a bunch......

Hi dakarHJ61, I had a 1985 Hilux and it was Negative switched.
A tip, your choice, but with every set of
driving lights I have ever fitted and there have been lots of them, mostly Hella and IPFs, the first thing I always do is chuck the loom that comes with the
driving lights and fitted heavier cable.
It always improves the light output.
Cheers

well, and yes myn are ipf's and come with the full wiring loom, eg relay, fuse holder etc. Regards Steve M

Forgot to say the wiring loom that come with
mine was twice the thickness if not more the thickness of the original toyota wiring.
