I've just lost the plug(to check any water inside) which is at the bottom of clutch housing on GQ. Does it affect the clutch when offroading like bog in mud hole...........?

If its the same as the handbrake ones on the brake drum, they are under $10...

It would be in your best interest to get one.. Or wait till morning and have alook in the daylight!

i think it's different from the one in drum brake. It is a tiny 1 inch long little plastic rod actually. As it doens't have any good grip on its end, I didn't fully insert it and left it about 2mm protrude outside and finally lost it. When water get inside the clutch, is it really a problem to the clutch ?

Day to day running should have the hole open to allow for any possible oil leak from engine or gearbox to escape. Oil on the clutch is a much bigger problem than water. The bung only needs to be inserted when fording deep water that is going to cover the floor area underneath and prevents ingress of water during a river crossing etc. The water is only going to be a problem if you actually push the clutch in during the time it is submerged.(a no-no). If water gets between the clutch friction surfaces, then you will loose drive and stop mid-stream. Once the Ford has been crossed, the bung should be removed. Cruise the wreckers and pick one up for a $.
