Well it has taken a while but we have finally purchased/picked up our new(second hand)camper trailer. We would like to thank all those that have assisted us in making this possible. And especially to all those whom have been there and done that, because going back through the archives to research all about this is invaluable. Now we know what most of you have gone through!!
Thank you to ExplorOz. It's because this site is here that we are all can view/research information and save ourselves alot of time and effort....
A big thank you to Paul from OzRoamer for his assistance in this, and putting up with all of our stupid questions.
Vanessa, Kiandra and I look forward to many happy times camping with our C/T, and hopefully we will meet up with a few of you in the years to come.

Paul,
We actually had to look in the mirror to see if it was still on. There was no sway or bounce and no banging or clanging from the hitch. Once you get some speed up, the hills were ok, you certainly knew you were towing something, but overall the Terracan towed it very well. In the next few months I'm hoping for a front diff-lock and a Ecu chip for the engine.(after the bills get paid first!!!).
Thanks again Paul

So Greg,

Which one did you decide on? Im still looking, but have pretty much decided on 2nd hand through either ebay or trading post...I am leaning towards the Jayco off road...dont care which model...

And where do you plan to go; on your first holiday?

GEG,
We purchased a Cape York Deluxe Explorer hard floor. There are quite a few second hand camper trailers out there, so I'm sure you will find what you are looking for. We went through OzRoamer @ Noosa, not only is it a good product and should see us through the next 10 yrs or so, but you can get a warranty on your purchase, which is something I don't think you can get buying private?
Our first holiday hopefully will be to Rainbow, with friends, then who know's after that, possibly Fraser Island. There's still a few things to get for our truck yet.....
