It's been a few weeks that the sand and gravel have been building up under the pedals and I keep saying, "I'll sweep that out tomorrow". Now there is no more tomorrow; I've discovered a use for it there. Heading off to work in the rain the other day and after stepping in puddles while opening the
gate, I found that the soles of my boots were slipping off the clutch pedal. So I pulled over, rubbed my soles in the sand under the pedals and hey presto! no more slippery soles. Maybe I could buy bulk kitty litter and re-sell it as a very expensive after-market safety device to all those people who forget to not vacuum!
