Hi,

Not sure if this is cheap or not. The local camping store in Rockhampton (Campco) are advertising a 40 litre Engle fridge for $1199 plus they throw in a transit bag, extra basket and another lead. If it is and your after one it might be worth the transport cost.

hi austravel

just wait until you have a 4x4 , campiong show near you and go on the last day if possible.
ask each engel dealer how many they have sold today, bet you they say none, then jump in and say , how about dropping your price a bit because you've all got them the same price, and he will sell more than one.
i did that last year in perth and got a 40 lte with transit bag, extra basket, 4 stubbie holders and 2 engel pocket knives for $1050,( did'nt get the extra lead tho) then 2 other couples said they will have one as well , same deal .i heard that agent sold another 5 that day.
( as the saying goes , turn over makes money and word of mouth is a very powerful selling tool ) even if he only made a small proffit , he made more than the other agents, and will get more return business( word of mouth ) it really works.
try it some time , it may work over your way as well.
