Hi all,
Wonder if anyone know of a supplier and cost of swivel seat base that I can mount the driver or passenger seat of a troopy on. Like those found in a lot of motorhome.
Many thanks

Find out where u stand first with the RTA, some vehicles cannot have them fitted by law. Also....u will find that your insurance company will need to know about the modification to the seat and that in turn may either UP ur premium heaps OR cancel your policy with them.

Sorry for the negative news but best u know before doing it then finding out after a claim that ur not covered due to the modification.

I was at the Warragul truck show a couple of years ago and I think it was a Scania rep who was telling us they have to remove the swivel seat and replace it with a fixed base. He was saying they couldn't get theirs past ADR's, even though they are widely used and considered safe throughout Europe. Things may well have changed since then though...

I think the swivel seat adapters are commonly fitted to Hilux, Transit, Merc etc motorhomes and are ADR approved
