Re my post a week or so back...."
check engine" light on the dash....paid the dealer $35 for an analysis.....turned out to be the "throttle body"...its working just fine n dandy as a throttle body (throttle by wire from the pedal)....its just that some very subtle factors to do with emissions are offending the engine management computer (IE: the main problem is that the light is on !). An informed small bird told me to forget it for now.....at $650 for the part plus labour, think I might. And VD diesel.......are you trying to ruin summer for the Jack owners ?....my eggs are all in the Jack basket ....with 65 on the clock, I've hardly even started with it yet (or have I ?).....dp

Hey Darian
Sold my 2000 TDI Roo and bought a Courier Dual Cab TDI (intercooled). Servicing costs are much lower, handling better, less sag in rear end from carrying camping crap. Much less sophisticated design but still good performance - hoping Ford have less trouble servicing than Holden did. Good luck with the Roo!
Cheers
Mike
