hi all !! i got a 85 mk nissan patrol with a 4.0 ltr motor {p40} im having trouble with the carby its just done to many
miles . can anyone tell me a good replacement eg 350 holly, weber. and was it a lot of drama to fit it up. thanks for your help.

Whats the reason for a replacement? Why not just put a kit through it? Or if it can't be done source one from a Wrecker and put a kit through that one?

well i can honestly say i haven't been in a MK 4.0 Petrol Patrol. Does it need waking up? The GQ 4.2 Petrol has some good grunt. I will be interested to read any responses. Just as long as you don't lose too much economy.
