Hi all,

Leaving for Coral Bay on Friday and just wanted to see if anyone know's current state of Yardie Creek, mainly depth wise - We want to do CB-Exmouth via the coast road but don't really want to cross Yardie Creek if too high given the salt water and our cars don't mix that well!!

Cheers
Nate

I live locally in Exmouth, Yardie Creek mouth is open, you will need to cross at the right tide, anything over 1.4m high tide I would not cross.

Hi Nate,

Just got back from Yardie Creek. We didn't attempt to cross the creek as the tide was quite high. I heard the Ranger talking to someone on the phone who said that some people had got through at low tide, but quite a few others had got stuck. You might want to contact the Milyering Visitor Centre (or the Exmouth CALM Office (Tel: (08) 9949 1676) who will be able to give you more detail.

Cheers,

Dodgy

dont know what you mean? salt water and cars mix just find... if you leave the car long enough it will mix right into the salt water and be totally absorbed :)
