Hi guys,
I have a 90l gas tank installed underneath the rear of my 80 series Cruiser.
I have been told I might be able to get another two 38l tanks installed underneath as
well, approximately below the rear seats.
Would give me more range on gas when i head bush, which would be handy at current fuel prices.
So I have two questions:
A) Has anyone done this and is it feasible?
B) What is the cost of such an installation, which then determines if it is worth it.
Cheers,
Scotty

Most people just add two 38l tanks without removing the extra petrol tank...

Scotty,
what sort of bush are you talking about cos we have the 90lt tank too with the 70lt petrol tank and having such a small petrol tank is going to rake havoc on our trip through Alice -
Boulia - Bridsville cos Nathan just told me that we would be pushing getting 240km off the tank when loaded..
Even though LPG is cheaper - which is why we got our 80 cos its on LPG - it can cause a prob if travelling remote...
I guess the cost would be about $2500 or maybe more for installation but have never heard of anyone having 3 lpg tanks.....thats the cost for installation for 1 tank from memory but for 2 - i dunno .
Can i ask a Q while im here and everyone else is reading - can a bigger petrol tank be put on my 80 - 90lt LPG and 70lt petrol on it already - maybe in the future we will get a bigger petrol tank put in....

Scotty, is it 90lts usable or maximum?
I have a 110lt tank in a 75 series. It was about 90lts usable. Its now at least 100lts usable. The float was adjusted.
