down under fridge looks like a reefer with down under badge ?

in repco the other day when i came across a fridge which is identical to my reefer 70l with down under badge on it , ithought down under were a completely seperate brand ? anyone .

They are all made by Ruey Shing in Taiwan Repco bought a batch of 600 from Downunder to flog off cheap ,Reefer rebadge then as
well as there own fridge.
There a great fridge!
Once Repco runout they are not getting anymore the manufacturer is not happy!

According to Mainey Reefer modify the electronics in the fridge which makes it a different fridge to what Ruey Shing manufacture. He wouldn't tell me just what the mods are because everyone would want it done....so yeah, there ya go..

I doubt very much if they change anything maybe the speed the compressor runs at which is just a matter of changing a resistor.
Maybe they make it as reliable as there rotary fridges.
