Looks like someone's onto a surefire way to raise easy cash. Start checking the
classifieds, eBay, Trading Post, etc etc etc.

Yeah sorry to hear this Macca....I'd be devastated if'n
mine got nicked. I've got locks all over the bloody thing (in the hitch, chain through wheels and over axel, leave the stablizers down and have a lock on them, use 2x pythons on the boat). But when all is said and done...locks only keep honest people honest...the low lifes will still bring the boltcutters or gas axe to get what they want for nothing.

Sorry to hear the bad news Macca. Looks like you need to put this type of thing on blocks and remove the wheels to slow the scumbags down.

keep a look out through the bush if there is any nearby...in areas hard to get to....sometimes we find trailers in
well hidden spots waiting for the new owners to come and pick it up!!

Since we've moved house we have had to put the Patrol out in the driveway so the camper can live in the garage, cos we're paranoid someone will flog our new Jayco, or if they can't steel it, they will damage it.
Photo's will be good. I know I'm in
Perth but I'll keep an eye out, you never know!!!

Though I'm in W.A., I'll keep a watch out as
well. Having recently lost a Toyota 100 series turbo-diesel to the light fingered barstewards, you have my sympathy and I share your anger.
Get the photos and description on as many forums as you can find.
You'll find heaps of supprt out there amongst decent people. When I recently lost the 'Cruiser, the people on this
forum were the only one's that kept me sane.
If it's insured, start preparing a dossier on it. Include photos, DETAIL all items on it, all the extras that were fitted to it and be
WELL prepared for a schitfight over the insurance payout. Having said that, I sincerely hope that you get it back.
If it gets that far, email me on how to deal with insurance companies. Keep copious notes of every word said to you, record every conversation immediately after it happened. Don't trust yer memeory and don't trust your insurance company. They'll screw you if they get a chance.
Geez, what is this great country coming too? It's never ending and getting worse!

Hiya Bilbo
Good to hear of your better deal with the Ins' Co , Mate I can remember when I was ....
well ... a little tacker , ankle biter lol Mum use to sit me in a little
seat on the back of the bicycle and she would pedal from Athelstone about 3.5 klm to the Tram stop at Paradise ,j[ust looked on my gps map to work it out] seemed like an eternity to get there back then , but she would leave the bike leaning on a pole and we go into
Adelaide for shopping ,when we got off the tram on return the blooudy bike was always still there , and also the house was never locked and the only door closed was the screen door, They were good years with good people.so your words "Geez, what is this great country coming too? It's never ending and getting worse! " is unfortunatly so true , Lazy judges and Laws i feel are way to lenient, they gotta get TOUGH
